Joey's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Joey's Story...
Joey is a very cute, happy, 20 month old, light yellow, neutered male Labrador. He has great coloring, is healthy, has a great temperament, good hips/eyes, and is ready for his new home!

Joey is a rerescue as his adoptive family moved and could no longer keep him. He is so cute, and so loving, he really deserves a great home! He knows some of his basic commands already, is pretty good on leash, and responds well to training. He LOVES other dogs, and just wants to play with them and be best friends! He loves the water and to go for runs/walks.

Joey's perfect home would be one that loves the Labrador breed and all its sillyness! One that will enjoy showing him what a good home is like, and letting him be a part of their lives. An active home that enjoys the outdoors would be great too!

If you would like to meet/adopt Joey please go to www.utahlabrescue.com and fill out our online application, thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joey, a Provo Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Provo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Provo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Provo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Provo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Provo paves the way for another one to be saved.
