My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wes is a sweet little guy that we pulled from a local shelter. He wasn't doing well there but little dogs often fail at shelter life because they are overwhelmed and scared of all of the noise. Often, once we get them into a home environment, things change and this was the case with Wes. He was turned into the shelter by an owner who was moving where dogs weren't allowed. He's a more laid back chihuahua, preferring to lay at your feet and asks for the occasional pet. He still has moments where he's a little timid so we think that Wes would do best in a home without small children, a more quiet life would suit him well. We think that Wes is about 2 - 3 years old and he weighs about 9 pounds. We use wee wee pads here and he's doing well with them. We think that he would transition to 'going' outside easily. Wes seems to like going for walks. He met one big dog once who was pretty excited to see a little guy and I think that intimidated Wes. He was snappish with the bigger guy so no big dogs, probably.

Wes is neutered, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm and flea preventive and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $200.
