My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Finn went hiking with some rescue friends and did awesome, he was sweet and mellow. He loved getting all that exercise and attention with the humans and was great with the other dogs.

Finn is now living with cats and just ignores them. He deserves a chance at a forever family with experienced dog owners.

This handsome boy is Finn. He's a 5-year-old 100-pound shepherd lab mix. He is available for adoption and is right here in Maine!

Finn is good with other dogs. He is currently in residence a local doggie daycare and having a great time! His favorite playmate is a female Rottie named Missy.

Finn is a bit shy/stand-offish with new people - but bonds very quickly. When he bonds with you - you have a friend for life. If you are looking for a dog who will think the sun and the moon rise and set with you - then Finn is the dog for you.

Finn is doing great! He's in big or small playgroups at doggie daycare and seems to get along with everyone. He is quite a good swimmer!

He would make a great companion for someone that was looking for a dog to take everywhere with them and would enjoy another canine companion in his new home.

To apply to adopt Finn, please visit our web site here to find out about our adoption process.

**Please note: we do not have a physical location, we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.**

Thank you for considering rescue!
