Peanut/Annie's Story...
Hi, I'm Annie! I am family ready and only 1.5 years old. When I was a baby puppy they called me Peanut. My foster parents think I'm a Golden and Yellow Labrador Retriever mix, with perhaps a dash of Jack Russell. When we meet, you will see I look like a little Lab. I am petite, about 30 pounds, and full of playful energy and love. Playing and wrestling with my doggy foster brother and snuggling with my people are things I love. I am patient and gentle with kids.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut/Annie, a Denver Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Denver, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
