Willow's Story...
Hi, I'm Willow. I was born on February 7, 2011. My foster mom said I was the runt of the litter, but now I'm almost the same size as my brother! My mom is a Chihuahua, but they definitely think I'm mixed with a Cairn Terrier because I don't shed very much. I'm fuzzy all over, so it makes me real cuddly. I am very sweet and like to run around and play with my foster siblings and toys. My mom and my 3 brothers and I were dropped off at a high kill shelter in rural Georgia days after we were born. Thanks to some amazing people at the shelter and other volunteers who do outreach and transport, we got out of there right away and came down to sunny Florida to grow up in luxury :) My foster mom says that I'm going to be a perfect little companion because I love getting kisses and attention, I'm also very submissive. Since I'm so small, I can't go to a home with very young children or large dogs. I am spayed, microchipped, and have my age appropriate shots. My adoption donation is $300.00, but if someone wants to keep my brother and I together, my foster mom will discuss a donation for the both of us. If you would like to fill in an application for me, you can contact my foster mom at petadopt@hotmail.com. I hope I meet you soon :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willow, a Palm Harbor Cairn Terrier/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Palm Harbor, or seeking a Cairn Terrier/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Palm Harbor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palm Harbor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palm Harbor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Cairn Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palm Harbor paves the way for another one to be saved.
