Bear's Story...
Please help Bear find his new home.

Hello, My name is Bear, I am a beautiful Lab/Chow mix. I am three years old and have had all of my shots. I am neutered and housebroken. I like cats and other dogs, the only reason my owner has to find me a home is... I am not real fond of little children. I think I should be the center of attention and would love a home that knows Chows. I would feel much more at home with kids over the age of 16 yrs. or in an adult only home. If you are looking for a beautiful, furry, four legged friend, please consider me! I can't wait to meet you!!

If anyone is interested, please contact Tammy Duch at 570-356-7673 or Cyndi Lindenmuth at 570-356-2387 or clindenmuth@geisinger.edu. The dog is located in the Bloomsburg area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear, a Bloomsburg Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow for sale in Bloomsburg, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Bloomsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
