Soco's Story...
Meet SoCo! SoCo was born on September of 2010 and is a Yellow Lab/Pit mix. SoCo absolutely loves to play fetch and swim in the water! He knows his basics such as sit, down, shake and come. He is %100 potty trained, as well as crate trained. He enjoys to be wherever you are, and is not an outside dog. He does need weekly exercise but also enjoys cuddling and sleeping at your feet. He does great jogging next to a bicycle. He likes to rough house with others his size, but does not like smaller animals. SoCo can be a little territorial at home with other dogs so a firm hand and discipline is a must. SoCo would be great for an active couple or family with older children, where he can become part of the "pack".

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Soco, a Miami Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Miami, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Miami.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Miami already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Miami breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Miami paves the way for another one to be saved.
