COOPER - ADOPTION PENDING's Info...
I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Cooper is one of those little griffs that is just so CUTE he looks like a beloved toy!
Cooper is a very sweet, affectionate blond Brussels Griffon looking for a permanent home with an available lap reserved just for him. He would be the perfect pet for a retired person who wants a constant companion. He is not a high energy griff, but he thoroughly enjoys his daily walks to the park!
Cooper lived the first 5 years of his life with someone who acquired him as a puppy. He was surrendered to rescue as the long hours he was left alone while his owner worked were increasingly affecting Cooper's happiness. Due to Cooper’s desire to be with his special person most of the time, we will be looking for that one favorite person he can bond with who is home most of the time, works from a home office, or can take Cooper to work with them.
Cooper gets along well with other dogs, but his focus is on his person. He will be placed as an only dog, or with another small dog who doesn’t want to play rough. He weighs about 9 lbs. He is strictly an indoor dog. Experience with smart dogs who try to bamboozle you to get what they want is hopeful for a successful match :-)
Cooper is fostered in Orange County, CA. He is leash trained, and crate trained. He likes men and women equally, and would do best in an adult household.
Cooper is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm free. A securely fenced yard is preferred, but not necessary as long as he is never let off leash to run loose and gets walked regularly.
Please keep in mind that we prefer to place Cooper within driving distance of where he is fostered. If someone outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to drive in.
