Thompson's Story...
Meet Thompson! He came into our care when a very nice man found him crying in one of the Orchards near his home. The young man took Thompson home and cared for him for a couple of days while he looked for his owner. No luck in finding his owner he then contacted us for help. Now that Thompson is in our care we have taken him into our vet for a puppy health check up to date on his shots and had him wormed. Thompson is a very sweet playful little man that just wants to bounce around and play with his toys. He is at this time in a foster home and they are working with him on house manners and being crate trained. If you think you are the home for our beloved Thompson Please let us know. We would love to hear from You! For further adoption information or for an application please send us a e-mail Thank You!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thompson, a Yakima Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Yakima, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Yakima.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yakima already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yakima breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yakima paves the way for another one to be saved.
