Chaz (IN NEW ENGLAND)'s Story...
CHAZ IS IN A NEW ENGLAND FOSTER HOME AND WOULD LOVE TO MEET YOU!!!
These little guys were found in a box, next to a river. They were dumped there, and left to take care of themselves. These little guys are ten weeks old and will be ready to come to their new home June 24th. They are a little shy at first, but warmup quickly. Right now they are being kept at the vet, which is no Holiday Inn, so they are really needing their own new homes quickly. They are completely vetted. So won't you bring one of these cuties home with you. (Wanda)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chaz (IN NEW ENGLAND), a Harrisonburg Portuguese Water Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Portuguese Water Dog for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Portuguese Water Dog puppy from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Portuguese Water Dog breeders who help with Portuguese Water Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
