Hello. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Lola and I'm a six year-old Bulldog. I have spent all my life with one family and I am a little lost right now and trying to figure this all out. My previous owner realized that I needed more care than he could provide so I know he had my best interest at heart. You see, I have been dealing with a skin infection for some time. The people at CEBR and their special vet have done a good job to get that under control and I feel so much better! I should be as good as new in just a few short weeks. Recently I have been spayed and I am up to date on all my shots now too.
Foster Mom tells everyone that I'm a really quiet girl. I am, but don't let that fool you—I can be a little sassy and stir things up when I feel like it! I don't know my foster bulldog brothers and sister very well yet so I'm mostly playing with Foster Mom right now. I let her know that I want to play by very lightly tapping her on the arm with my paw. She always tells me how adorable I am when I do that! I like being called "adorable" and "good girl," too. Foster Mom also asked "what are you looking for in your new forever family?" Great question, don't you think? So I've been thinking about that a lot. My family would love me, first thing. There would be nothing better than to be cared for and feel secure in my new home. My new family needs to know that I want to be a good companion and family member. I don't have any problems with other dogs, cats or teenagers. Also, a family that allows me to hang out with them would be great. When I'm separated from people I get lonely and start talking to myself. You may call it barking, I call it talking. I can talk to myself pretty loudly, I'm told!
Also, I am working on basic commands, like sit, down and stay. My leash walking is pretty good as long as I concentrate on not meandering in front of my walking buddy. My house manners are very good because I know that a dogs business is best done outdoors.
I think I’m pretty special. An all around good gal!
XOXOXO
Lola
