Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jellybean was adopted 7/8/11! Way to go, Bean!
Jellybean was found by a good Samaritan & will be checking into Camp soon! She is under 1 year, about knee-high, & as sweet as her name implies! Jellybean is good with other dogs as long as rawhides aren't around, then she gets possessive of them. She was on her own & deprived for all of her little life & therefore certain things like rawhides she just doesn't want to share. She lives with a foster sister/mama dog & they absolutely love each other. They romp, chase, chew, & play with each other until Randi, the mama dog, passes out on her back. Jellybean loves this because she can then go & lie across Randi's belly & they curl up to sleep together.
Jellybean is current on her vaccinations, heartworm preventative, & is scheduled to be spayed. We expect her to remain smaller based on her petite Whippet frame. She walks well on a leash, loves car rides, & never meets a stranger!

Adoption fee is $90. Thank you for wanting to share your home with one of our rescued pups!
If you are a parent adopting for your children, please remember we do pick the best home for our pups. If there are 2 applications that come in at the same time, for example, and one will be a better fit, that is the one we choose. Many parents pump up their children about getting a specific puppy, and it can be very sad for the child if the particular puppy isn't a good fit unbeknownst to them. We put this disclaimer here because a couple of parents have been upset when a home that used doggy daycare & had a fenced in yard was chosen over crate-all-day without a backyard. Peace.
