Yoki's Story...
Yoki is a spayed female mystery mix breed dog who is SO NICE! She's gentle, great on a leash, knows 'sit' - is eager to please and very affectionate. Great with other dogs and cat neutral in the shelter environment. Yoki was coaxed to safety by a terrific Petaluma man who noticed her running as a stray. It took 2 weeks, but she came to him. We think she was treated well by her orginal family as she has family dog behaviors. This is a very nice girl. It's time Yoki have a second chance at a great life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yoki, a Petaluma Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Petaluma, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Petaluma.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Petaluma already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Petaluma breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Petaluma paves the way for another one to be saved.
