Pookie Bear's Story...
Pookie Bear had a rough life! She lived on the Ft. McDowell Indian Reservation, where her owners let her run loose in the desert. She was attacked by another dog or coyote and we rescued her. Pookie Bear is the sweetest, best little dog ever! She loves to be held and is very snuggly. She LOVES kids, but is quite small and delicate, so she should not go to a home where kids are too young or rough and might hurt her. She gets along well with other dogs and cats. She is house-trained and crate-trained. She goes to sleep and does make a peep until morning. Pookie Bear has a charming personality and wonderful, happy spirit. She is ~1 year old. After all she has been through, she deserves a fantastic home where she is adored! Her adoption fee is $150 and that will include spay, microchip, rabies vaccination and series of two DA2PPV vaccinations. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pookie Bear, a Phoenix Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
