Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pookie Bear had a rough life! She lived on the Ft. McDowell Indian Reservation, where her owners let her run loose in the desert. She was attacked by another dog or coyote and we rescued her. Pookie Bear is the sweetest, best little dog ever! She loves to be held and is very snuggly. She LOVES kids, but is quite small and delicate, so she should not go to a home where kids are too young or rough and might hurt her. She gets along well with other dogs and cats. She is house-trained and crate-trained. She goes to sleep and does make a peep until morning. Pookie Bear has a charming personality and wonderful, happy spirit. She is ~1 year old. After all she has been through, she deserves a fantastic home where she is adored! Her adoption fee is $150 and that will include spay, microchip, rabies vaccination and series of two DA2PPV vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting Pookie Bear, please contact Delon.Washo@asu.edu or 602-295-4518.
