My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LOCATED IN REDDING CA

application at

www.sadt.info

it will show you step by step info on what and how the adoption process works

Mick is around 3.5-4 years old and weighs a good 85-90 loving pounds, healthy, happy, active and fun not hyper, loves to swim and play fetch easy dog to have around
He's fully trained, house trained knows commands very well behaved, calm in house, playful outside
He loves to play fetch and swim he two favorite things besides getting loved by his humans
He also loves to fetch the stream of water from a hose

He would love to have a pond, pool or stream near by or on country property and another non alpha dog over 45 pounds that he can play with he is fine with either gender as long as other dog is good natured just no small dogs he thinks they are toys

Mick is a lover! Even though he is a big boy he loves to snuggle once he knows you
he is one of the most tender hearted and affectionate dogs I've ever met! He is eager to please and loves to be close. He likes walks and is good on a leash.

He lived with a 45 pound fem dog and loved to play with her so if you have another playful friendly fem dog her size or larger he would love that too or only dog fine as long as he's part of the family and gets daily exercise like nature walks, playing fetch etc., a big fenced yard or acerage
he's good with kids but since he has not lived with any we prefer respectful kids over 10 yrs old but has been around a toddler at times and he is very good with them

Mick lived with a un neutered male Chocolate Lab for a few years of his life both got along fine as long as Mick can be the boss he's fine with either gender and has played with many, but he's not good with any small dogs like Chihuahuas and sees them as toys so cannot be off leash any place where there could be small dogs, he does not act aggressively towards any but should avoid them

If no other dog we prefer someone home during the day if possible or other arrangements made, not a back yard dog
He was allowed to lie on the couch next to owner while watching TV but only will go up if invited
Overall Mick is very loving and obedient a great and easy best friend

He's extremely smart, attentive, athletic and well-trained. He's very social with people and with larger, non-alpha dogs.
Mick is one great boy and easy to love

adoption fee, homecheck, vet references, fenced yard
