AIDAN'S STORY

Today I contact you with a heavy heart because I need to look into giving away my loving dog to an establishment that will find him a good home.

My dog's name is Aidan and he was born on Oct 28th 2009, and was from a liter of 1 of 15. I instantely new which one I was going to choose cause he was the little runt that was exploring the kennel and barking with his floppy ears and eyes closed (silly from day 1), and then the single renegade line stripe he had running down his face. I knew I had to have him.

At that point in my life I had a 3 bedroom house in sebastopol with front and back yard. Everything that I would need to raise this dog. Then everything went topsy-turvey for me all in one fell swoop. I landed on disability due to an illness on 6-14-2010 and had to give up my job. 1 month later, my house that i was renting got forclosed on and I was forced to relocate.

I maintained much of my life and happiness devoting everything that I could to my dog because I saw how many uncertainties the future could bring.. It's been 1 year since that has all happened and I find myself still struggling to make ends meet and every place I've inquired on renting, (houses of course) no one wants to rent a house out because he's a pitbull.

I cannot stay at the current place I'm living at due to a comprimized immune system, and a absolutely horrible roommate. Living situation that can barely be described as homey. I've only tolerated it all because I had my dog. I've been selfish I feel. Like any responsible parent that has done what they could for there child. It comes to a point in one's life that if u truelly love something... u must let it go.

Aidan nears 2 years old and is A HEALTHY VETTED DOG. He's a loving, happy, energetic dog approximetely 75pounds. Full tail and non-clipped ears. Was keeping him as natural as possible. From day one I have kept him on a strick regimine of dry dog food, no human food what so ever, and have ensured that he get's plenty of daily exercise. Love's to pull me around on my rollerskates or just run in circles in a nice open field.

Aidan has been socialized well with other dogs with the exception is that sometime while he plays he can forget how big he is. I've never raised a hand to my dog. I used the water bottle to enact disipline, and he's as well house trained and won't go to the bathroom anywhere inside a home. I will not deny that fact that he may be slightly spoiled thou. He's never been kennel trained but understands boundaries exceptionally well and although he has mutiple doggy beds, has always slept in bed with me which has made him out to be the softy snuggler that he is today.

Attached to this letter will be some pictures of my handsome dog. Please if there is some way you can help me find a place with a loving owner for my dog. If my illness took me the next day, I would go happy knowing that my dog didn't go to some animal shelter and was put down.

Thank you for your time
