My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The screech of tires, a soft thud and Carlotta's life was changed forever. Thankfully Carlotta was in a community with a very compassionate Animal Control Department. She was taken to a vet who determined her left rear leg was so badly mangled there was no option other than amputation. Probably because of her youth, she is around a year old, Carlotta bounced back very quickly from the amputation. Within two weeks she was spayed and then treated for heartworms. Quite a busy month for our little Carlotta. Carlotta has no special needs, although long walks or runs are probably out of the question. She is very playful and chases around the yard with the other dogs. Click this link to see a quick video of her running around her foster home yard. She does like to hear the sound of her own voice, so apartments may be problematic.
