Briana's Story...
This sweet little girl is just about 10 weeeks old and was rescued from a puppy mill. She was kept in such small/cramped quarters that she never learned how to use her hind legs. Our rescue organization has rehabilitated this sweet girl and she can now walk. She still has some strengthening to go and she doesn't walk perfectly yet, but she can now walk, run and even balance on her hind legs for a short period of time. You never would have known that she had a rough start based on her personality alone. She is such a sweetie and also has a little bit of spunk. She's absolutely adorable and looks just like a little teddy bear. She will be on the smaller side, probably topping off at around 6 or 7 pounds. If you are interested in meeting or adopting this precious little girl, please contact me. There is an adoption process which incudes an application, home check and adoption fee. We want to do everything in our power to ensure that she goes to a loving, forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Briana, a San Fernando Valley Shih Tzu puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in San Fernando Valley, or seeking a Shih Tzu puppy from a breeder in San Fernando Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Fernando Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Fernando Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Fernando Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
