Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Champ is 8 or 9 years young. I say that because he trots around the dog park and likes to play if
another dog engages him. He is completely blind, but very well adapted. Champ loves to be pet and massaged, by anyone who will say hello. He just melts with affection. He is your shadow, but I suspect after being in his new home for a month or two that will lessen. He does great with our bossy Chihuahua, our timid Chihuahua and is bed buddies with our senior Chihuahua. He learned verbal cues within hours and is a smart dog. Champ uses the doggie door, rides well in the car, is a little wobbly on a leash, and gently finds the water bowl every time. He has manners and a happy guy. He is very skilled at getting around and remembering where things are, and what to avoid. Champ would make a great walking companion once he builds some stamina. This long legged Pit/Hound mix would make a nice member of the family who will flourish with love and care as he has since he came into our home.
He learns quickly and is eager to please. Please help us find Champ a forever home!
