Peaches's Story...
Please meet Peaches and what a peach she is.

Peaches – adult, ?Corgi/Cocker Mix, female, Tan/white, ?spayed, housebroken. Good with other dogs, cats, kids. She was a stray that no one claimed. She is good with people and seems to be okay with the cat in her foster home. The person who found her was sleeping and heard a car, he looked out his window and saw her in the road. Whether she was dropped off or not we don't know, could be the car stopped because they did not want to hit her. In any case, she is very very sweet and needs someone to love her.

If anyone is interested in Peaches, please contact Tammy Duch at 570-356-7673 or Cyndi Lindenmuth at 570-356-2387 or clindenmuth@geisinger.edu. She is located in the Bloomsburg area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peaches, a Bloomsburg Corgi/Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Cocker Spaniel for sale in Bloomsburg, or seeking a Corgi/Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Bloomsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Corgi/Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
