Ruger's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Ruger's Story...
Ruger is Katie's son from her second litter. He has great hunting potential if someone wanted to train him. He is only 2 so he is still a bit of a teenager. He just needs some simple hands-on but has Katie's sweet temperament and that is why I picked him to keep. He is your typical 2 year old where he will chew if left unattended so right now I dont leave him in the house or car by himself. Other than that he is really fun. Ruger will chase and kill chickens if given the opportunity.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruger, a Bellingham German Shorthaired Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shorthaired Pointer breeders who help with German Shorthaired Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
