My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Smiley is the happiest Pyr I have met. His tail is constantly wagging. Smiley is a 14 month old neutered male who was never brought into a house by his former owner. In the short time I have had him he has learned many new things. He is a very smart Pyr and loves to go on walks and visit the dogpark . He has learned to sit nicely in the backseat of my car. He walks great on his leash already and has lots of fun with all different sizes of dogs playing at the dogpark. He trains easily and I think he would do very well at an Obedience class. He likes to follow me around the house and flop down in whatever room I am in. He is curious about cats, and I think he would like to play with them. Mine try to ignore him. He would do great in a home with other animals (particularly dogs) for company, best with a female of any size I think. He ignores birds and squirrels while on our walks so I think a home with small critters would be fine also. He loves all people, men women and kids. He does seem bothered by kids on bikes though and will bark at them. He would make a nice pet for a family that would include him in many of their activities.

Smiley is up to date on all shots, neutered, microchipped and in great health. An adoption application, site visit, secure visible fencing, and an adoption fee are required to adopt Smiley.
