My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dia is being adopted 8/7/11! 3 cheers for Dia!

Dia is a shepherd mix w/a slender beautiful face, full of great mask markings! She is about 16 weeks old, weighs 22 lbs. Her mom (adopted) is a yellow shepherd mix weighing 45-50 lbs. They both along with Dia's sister Dora have the sweetest personalities. She knows simple commands like sit & is learning 'don't jump' and has a great start on leashwalking.

Dia is super people oriented. She has been our shadow since checking into Camp. She follows us everywhere around the house, outside in the yard, & she is content to lie or sit at our feet when we're watching tv or on the computer. At night after going to potty before bedtime, she'll follow me to the bathroom & sit at my feet while I brush my teeth, then she'll quietly sit while I squat & give her a nice, long hug. Dia loves hugs! She'll even let me hold my cheek to hers --without biting my ear-- while I whisper in her ear how much I love her.

Dia is kennel trained for night-time & work-time, however she is content to hang out in our bathroom with her mom & sister, too. In the early mornings after going out to potty, she sometimes gets to come back to bed for cuddle time which is so exciting for her that she gives us nose bumps, maybe a little kiss, then rubs her face against ours. Precious with a capital "P"!

Dia hasn't had accidents indoors now that she's figured out the doggie door, but she will need schedule work to get her adjusted once in her new home. She is so smart, we don't foresee that taking long if her new family is diligent with keeping a schedule.

Our sweet little nugget is current on her vaccinations & awaiting her spay appointment (8/5/11). Please email CampChaos37206@gmail.com for an application if you are interested in meeting Dia!

All Camp Chaos dogs are indoor dogs with outdoor privileges. There are no exceptions. Thank you for understanding.

Adoption fee is $90. Thank you for wanting to share your home with one of our rescued pups!

If you are a parent adopting for your children, please remember we do pick the best home for our pups. If there are 2 applications that come in at the same time, for example, and one will be a better fit, that is the one we choose. Many parents pump up their children about getting a specific puppy, and it can be very sad for the child if the particular puppy isn't a good fit unbeknownst to them. We put this disclaimer here because a couple of parents have been upset when a home that used doggy daycare & had a fenced in yard was chosen over crate-all-day without a backyard. Peace.
