Cosette's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Cosette's Story...
Cosette is an approximately 2 year old female pure Long -Haired Chihuahua weighing 6 lbs. Little Cosette was found abandoned in a park~~ why she was abandoned? We don't know. She is spayed & up to date on vaccinations. Cosette is a typical Chihuahua~ loving & sweet but also protective of her "person." She does not get along with other dogs as she is frightened of anything bigger than herself. She does get along with cats. The ideal home for Cosette would be that in which there is minimal traffic in the home as she prefers calm and quiet. She would do best as the only dog.. She is housebroken and will also use wee-wee pads. Cosette would do best in a home that is familiar with the Chihuahua breed. If you are interested in Cosette please email fofadopt@nyc.rr.com for a pre-adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cosette, a Oakland Gardens Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Oakland Gardens, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Oakland Gardens.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland Gardens already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland Gardens breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland Gardens paves the way for another one to be saved.
