Duffie's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Duffie's Story...
Duffie and Rex McDuff wandered onto someones property together. They're both purebred scotty dogs. They were scanned for microchips and found that the chips had been deactivated and owners were not able to be located. After a waiting period they were taken to the shelter who in turn called the rescue before their time was up. Duffie is an adorable girl! She's so sweet and she is about 2 years old. Duffie is being boarded at our vet while we find her forever family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duffie, a Harrisonburg Scottie, Scottish Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Scottie, Scottish Terrier for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Scottie, Scottish Terrier dog from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Scottie, Scottish Terrier breeders who help with Scottie, Scottish Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
