My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adoption fee $0 We do not charge senior people for senior dogs, as it is a match made in heaven!

Rascals is a cream nearly 9 year and 7 mth old 24lb Mini Poodle who came to us because his family split up and he could not go with them.

What a wonderful dog Rascals is, he could be the ambassador for any rescue group as he is temperament proof, nothing fazes him, he takes everything in his stride and knows everything. The eyes speak volumes and he is yet again one of those dogs that just understands what you want from him, totally mellow and right by your side waiting for your word. So attentive and wanting to be close by just in case you need him.

This guy would be a wonderful companion for a senior person who loves to garden, go for walks and likes afternoon naps.

This little guy may have been a Rascal when he was younger but we think he is a gentle gem now, and oh how we love the senior dogs at Toy Poodle Rescue.


He is totally potty trained and has the manners thing down pat. Don't let his age put you off, this guy is ready to walk when you are and is physically perfect. He is getting a dental cleaning before being adopted.

Poodles need to go to a professional groomer every 6-8 weeks at a cost of about $50, so please factor that into the costs associated with dog ownership.
