Bono's Story...

Hi!  I'm Bono!

I am a mellow, calm, sweet, laid back, quiet Chocolate Lab mix. I weigh about 70 lbs., but I walk well on a leash (hardley ever pull), and if other dogs bark at me while I am on a walk, I just ignore them. I am not aggressive at all. I am housebroken and crate trained. I get along well with dogs of all sizes and I ignore the cats at the shelter. I also seem to be good with kids. I ride well in the car. I am not a chewer or a barker. I do not jump on people, or try to get on furniture, nor do I beg for food when you are eating. I know basic commands like sit, lay down and shake. I am affectionate yet not overly needy. If you are looking for a large nice handsome dog to adopt, you would have a hard time finding one better than me. Could my new home be with you?

My adoption fee of $150 includes my heartworm test; current vaccines; spay/neuter & microchip!

If you would like to meet me, please complete our online adoption evaluation form and ask for me by name! You'll be glad you did!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bono, a Warren Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Warren, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Warren.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warren already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warren breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warren paves the way for another one to be saved.
