Gianna's Info...

I am up to date with shots and good with cats.

Gianna's Story...
Gianna is an 8 week old, female kitten who is all white except for a black smudge on her head. It looks like she got hit by a paint brush since it's like a smudge of black not in any particular shape. Her hair looks like it is going to be medium length...not really long but not short. She has light blue eyes that are very pretty. She is shy at first and warms up when she gets to know you. Her and her sister were found outside with no mom in sight! Her sister (who was white and calico) has been adopted. Gianna is very playful and LOVES to eat turkey, thin sliced lunch meat! Her nicknameis Butterball. She was very skinny when she came to the shelter but now she is normal weight and happy! She loves other cats but currently is not to sure about dogs.

I will be outside the Mt Pleasant Walmart Sat & Sun July 16th & 17th from 10am - 3pm (weather permitting). Come meet me and adopt me!

Adoption donation is $65. She is Leukemia negative, current on shots and wormed. She was also flea treated when she came to the shelter.
Ask about our low cost spay program for an additional fee of $45.

Contact Mary at 724-423-5571 or email her at mary@animalkeepersrescue.org to schedule a time to meet this cutie!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gianna, a Acme Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Acme, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Acme.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Acme already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Acme breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Acme paves the way for another one to be saved.
