My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Yoda is a reluctant owner surrender due to him not being happy in a home with children. I took him in hoping I could provide him a happy forever home, but he isn't happy around my 6 month old Cardigan. I believe he would be good around other low-energy dogs or just being a single dog. He is great around cats (he pretty much ignores them from what I can tell) and is just a big snuggler. He's not big on walks, but needs to lose a little weight. He needs someone to love him unconditionally for his final years, and someone who wouldn't mind e-mailing updates every so often for his previous owner to know he is doing alright.
He has some food aggression and is a "talker"--he'll grumble happily when you pet him or just grumble at you TO pet him. He is house trained, but the original owner did have problems with him pottying in the house due to his discomfort of being around children--nothing medical. I have had no problems with him pottying in the house or in the kennel I have put him in for sleeping at night or while I am gone. He is really just a big snuggle bug who needs someone's love and affection. Yoda has never bit but is a bit of a growler towards other dogs.

Yoda has been recently diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease, and will need medicine to keep him comfy for the rest of his life. He may need a wheelchair as well, which Corgis do quite well in usually. There is no way to estimate how long the meds will keep him comfy and his quality of life will be good, but he needs love for the rest of his days. He is fine around older, calmer dogs.
