Shorty's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Shorty's Story...
Shorty, 10 years old, came from Missouri as a family surrender. He does not have any sight, although he gets around really well! He loves full yard walks as often as possible - although he is slowing down some, plays with stuffies, eats well, and loves to snuggle in at night next to his human, belly rubs a must. Shorty is the sleepy morning kinda pug, coming out of his naps with a long stretch and belly drag across the sheets, wagging his tail and grinning. Shorty's eye are dry and needs some over the counter lubrication ointment, he is otherwise a healthy, happy, and sweet older pug.

Adoption fee: $100.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shorty, a Hinckley Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Hinckley, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Hinckley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hinckley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hinckley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hinckley paves the way for another one to be saved.
