THOR's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

THOR's Story...
MuttSavers rescues puppies on a weekly basis but there are always more dogs to rescue! There are lots of sweet older pups that need a chance to come to come to CO and get adopted by the wonderful dog loving people here in our community!!

THOR is one of those "older" pups looking forward to transport out of the shelter where days are numbered. HE IS BIG at least 75#! He's approx 1.5 years old, neutered and gets along well with others. Since CO loves BIG dogs, he will have a great life here doing outdoors activities.

IF you are interested in adopting this dog, please contact us ASAP. There is no commitment to adopt until we know you and the dog are a good match.

IF you can foster the pup so we can get the dog to CO to get adopted, PLEASE email ASAP!!! There are many advantages to fostering an "older" dog but the best one is they are out of the puppy phase!

MuttSavers is a foster based rescue which means we rely on the hospitality of people who love animals and want to help reduce the number of dogs being put to sleep. Fosters are provided everything needed to foster our pups. All you add is love! Fosters are MuttSavers!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

THOR, a Broomfield Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Great Pyrenees for sale in Broomfield, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Broomfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Broomfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Broomfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Broomfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
