Sparky's Story...
Notes: Sparky is looking for a forever home! Here is what his fosterhome has to say about this wonderful fun boy:

Sparky is such a great boy! The vet thinks he is about 9 months to a year old...and currently weighs around 20lbs, so should not get much bigger. Sparky is a very active and playful pup...he is a really sweet, loving, smart dog. He would love a home with a yard to run in and children to play with.... He'd be the most perfect dog for a young boy Sparky adores other another dog in the house would be perfect...he is even good with cats too!

I've found him to be very intellegent and he's learning manners. He's house-broken and he is good on a leash. He's learned how to "wait" and "roll over". And he's quick to learn that he should only chew on his own toys. He has definite favorite toys. He loves to play and needs someone who would really enjoy playing with him everyday. He is a very happy, affectionate fellow!

Please let us know right away if you might want to arrange a meeting with this cutie!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sparky, a Sacramento Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen breeders who help with Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
