06/27/11Piper is about 9-10 months old now. He was rescued by Homestead resident Carol H out by the Homestead General Airport. He has been through a lot but made it through. His legs and body were weak from malnutrition but he is learning to play, walk on a leash and play with a tennis ball. Piper is a smart boy and can follow direction and the sit command. He is teething a lot and likes to chew. He rarely barks and just loves to be with a person. He is fine on his own and does not bark when in his kennel. Piper has some medical issues and we are looking for a very special person for him. He has some skin issues and also hemophilia. He will bleed a lot if injured. He is healthy but we want any adopter to be aware of these things. Piper has been to the vet and is under care as necessary. He is such a sweet dog. Please open your heart!
