Virgina's Story...
Virginia is a very sweet, fun loving girl with a long coat and happy attitude. She is a polydactyl with extra toes on her fuzzy feet. She loves to be petted and lifts herself up to meet your hand when you reach out to her. She is very playful and affectionate and enjoys lap sitting and playing with toys with you. She's very people oriented but may hide out for a bit with strangers. She gets along with other cats and would be happy to be an only cat as well. She doesn't seem to appreciate dogs. Virginia is about 2 years old. Please contact Anne to meet her today at annepanarese@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Virgina, a Portland Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Portland, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
