Fritz's Story...
Fritz is an adorable little wire-haired dachshund, taken by animal control from a neglectful situation with his cocker spaniel and Chihuahua sisters. He is a spunky little dude – sure to put a smile on anyone’s face. He is still young at only one year old and is very excited to have lots of playtime and several daily walks here at Cedar Farm. Fritz does very well on leash and will look to his guardian for guidance. He has the cutest little quizzical look when you ask him to do something…like “am I doing this right?” – super cute and so anxious to please. He is crate-trained and housebroken, loves other dogs and cats and should do just fine with children. Fritz weighs 14 lbs and is up to date on all of his shots. He is neutered and microchipped. To meet Fritz we ask that you first complete our adoption application form found at www.cedarfarmrescue.com If you have any specific questions about Fritz or our adoption process please contact us at (336) 251-8877 or email cedarfarm@yadtel.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fritz, a Mocksville Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund for sale in Mocksville, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Mocksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mocksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mocksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mocksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
