Baby's Story...
NOTE: This is a courtesy posting for another rescuer. Please do not contact ARRF, as we do not know this dog personally. Be sure to contact the foster or organization directly from the information listed below.

Baby is a 4-year old spayed, red and brown Shepherd blend who weighs about 57 lbs. She is a calm and loving girl, who is seeking a special someone that she can be comfortable with. She rides well in the car, and loves to go on walks. She interacts well with everyone she meets--she loves to be petted--by adults or children. She also seemed comfortable with other dogs, but it's too early to say yet just how well her interactions there would be.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baby, a Vista Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Vista, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
