This lovely boy is Cole! Cole is 3 years old and weighs about 9 lbs. He is so affectionate and loves to be right beside you at all times! Definitely a lap dog! He is very loving! He is working on housetraining and is doing well. The vet says that he is very healthy and very adoptable. He is great with other dogs and cats. His main focus is on his loving companion and he will stay right beside you at all times, your loving shadow! He was rescued from a local animal control after being scheduled to be euthanized. He was taken from an abusive, hoarding home. He does have an injury to his front right leg. He apparently had his leg smashed when he was younger, and did not receive veterinary care to allow it to heal correctly. He has been to the vet and the vet believes that it is not a concern and that it is not painful for him. He doesn't believe that surgery is necessary. He gets around very easily and can jump all over the house! So, his home must be able to make sure that he does not fall or injury himself. He gets very attached to his owner, and will want to be with you at all times. He does get very sad when separated from his owner, so it is best if you crate him whenever you leave him. When crated he will cry for a few minutes but quickly settle down and go to sleep in your absence. He LOVES to snuggle and is the perfect bed buddy! He does not have any aggression issues, but we do prefer that he not go to a home with small children as they may hurt him. He is a very special, sweet, loving boy and only deserves a home that is willing to love him and not pity him, while giving him all the love and attention he could ever desire!
