Poor Nayla! We took her out of an abusive, local home where her owner loved to get drunk, beat and then hang her by a leash!!! What monsters there are out there! Due to this, Nayla has suffered some neurological damage to her neck and does not have a proper gate. She has been checked by our vet and extensive x-rays have been done. They feel this will not progress any further. The damage has been done and thats that. With her front paws, she walks like she cant bend her wrists (although she can). On her back paws, she drags them slightly. This doesnt stop her though! She runs around with the rest of the dogs with no problem. It never ceases to amaze me how the ones that are so abused, remain so sweet and trusting of people. Nayla is a very happy girl in spite of all she's been through. She gets along well with other dogs and just loves toys. She is always up for a game of tug. She will get her favorite toy and gently put it in my lap to play. I really love this dog! She crates quietly and is trustworthy in the house. Please consider giving Nayla a loving home. She so deserves it! Nayla is 9 months old. Unfortunately, due to the number of outstanding checks we have had recently, we will now be only accepting cash at the time of adoption.
