Carley's Story...
Note: the owner of Carley is trying to rehome her and 2 other dogs because she cannot care for them any longer. This is what the owner wrote about Carley. Any inquiries will be forwarded to her owner. Carley is a 2 year old dog that we rescued from way down in Kentucky. She was living in the backyard of a trailer, tied up to a short leash. Her original owners were going to put her down because they couldn't find a home for her. She is great with my kids. At first, she was reluctant to come near my husband. Just by assumption, I think a guy must have abused her as a pup. She has come a long way! Very, very sweet girl. I trust her completey around my kids. She is half lab and half boxer. She has had one litter of puppies and was spayed about three months ago

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carley, a cedar grove Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in cedar grove, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog from a breeder in cedar grove.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in cedar grove already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a cedar grove breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in cedar grove paves the way for another one to be saved.
