Molly's Story...
Molly and her family were living in a back yard, where they were being neglected in the 100+ degree heat of St. Louis' 2011 summer. Neighborhood dogs would frequent the yard, where they antagonized and attacked this sweet young family. Even the neighborhood stray cats ganged up on them and, because of this, most of the little family contracted Feline Leukemia. But despite her entire family testing positive for FeLV, Molly has repeatedly tested NEGATIVE, and we are happy to say that she is a healthy kitty, ready for her adoptive home!

Molly has blossomed from a little kitten into the most loving, sweet, outgoing cat in her foster home. She has an inquisitive nature and enjoys exploring everything. She leaps and plays with all of her kitty toys with the greatest of ease. When she's not scoping out the land in search of fun, sweet Molly transforms herself into one of the most cuddly cats around. Each night she snuggles in atop her foster mom's pillow. As soon as she hears her foster parents or kitty friends waking up in the morning, she immediately greets the new day with thunderous purring. She also loves to snuggle with her kitty friends on lazy afternoons and engage in very thorough grooming sessions.

She gets along great with dogs and adores the affection of other cats. She seems to face new situations very well and is super laid back. While Molly loves to spend time with all of her foster kitty and dog friends, she is excited to transition into a home of her own. A home where she knows that she will be loved forever for the sweet little girl she is. Would you like to be the one who gives Molly what she has been waiting for, what she has always wished for? Bring home this miracle kitty today!

About Our Rescue Group...
Tenth Life is an animal welfare organization that provides another chance at life to injured and abused stray cats. Our focus is on felines with extreme medical needs or ongoing conditions that make it difficult for typical shelters to afford their care.

Stage one of our mission is getting needy cats off the streets of St. Louis and into caring Foster Homes, where they await their forever homes. Stage two´s goal is to open a shelter building that will house special-needs kitties in a cage-free, no-kill setting until they can be carefully placed in their forever homes.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly, a St. Louis Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
