Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Marcel but my foster mom calls me baby puppy. I came into the rescue when I was only 4 weeks old. A nice man found me wandering and took me home but realized I was way to young for him and so he gave me to a good foster home. I am finally at an age that I can find my new furever home and I am hoping it will be you.
I am crate trained and have no issues sleeping through the night or taking naps during the day. I love toys that squeek and I already know how to play fetch with a tennis ball (I even bring it back to you). I am good with kids but I am still a puppy and like to jump up so I sometimes scratch them but I feel really bad when they cry. I know that with training, I will learn to not jump anymore and I will be better at playing. I live with a bunch of dogs of all sizes and I am the boss (ok, I think I am but they just don't know it). I have no fear and I will jump right in and play. I am learning how to swim and cruise on a raft in the water but I am still kinda unsure about that.
I will be required to be enrolled in obedience training within 30 days of going to my new home. I am a very smart puppy and I do learn very fast so it will be a breeze. I have learned some of the things I need to know from my foster brothers and sisters but they don't teach me everything. Puppy classes will also help build a bond for you and me and that is a good thing when I am getting settled into my new home.
I have received 2 of my 4 required puppy shots but I am still ok to go home as long as my new family makes sure I get the last two shots. I will get my rabies at 4 months (Michigan law) and I can't get neutered till I am 6 months old so I have to wait on that as well. My new family can pay a $50 deposit that they get back when I get neutered so that way I can go home now and not wait around till then. If you are interested in taking me home, my adoption fee is $200 plus the $50 deposit and that will also include my microchip and deworming (all puppies are born with worms so you gotta get rid of them). Please go to www.paawarren.org and fill out an online application for the foster family to do a home visit for me!
