My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Joanie and my foster mom says I’m a happy, sweet, beautiful 5 year old female. I have lots of energy, love to go for walks and like to ride in the car (and I’ll try to help you drive). I’m so happy to be inside cuz my last family keep me outdoors most of the time. I need a little work on house training, at least that’s what my foster mom tells me and we’ll work on while I’m here. My foster mom says a doggie door (what ever that is) would be something I’d learn fast but doesn’t have one. Since I recently had puppies, I’m still getting back my girlish figure. I love to give lots of Basset kisses and snuggle in a warm bed.

My foster homes doesn’t have any children so I’m not sure how I’d be around kids but my foster mom says I’d probably give them lots of kisses. I like other dogs and would love a playmate but don’t sniff my bottom as that’s not my thing and I’ll let you know. My foster mom says we have to go to the vet office for my shots and I need to get spayed so I won’t have any more puppies – WOO HOO! I’m glad that part of my life is over and can’t wait to meet you.
