for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Oliver's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Oliver's Story...
Oliver here. And quite a dapper 5 year old I am. I was rescued by AZBHR from a shelter after my time was up and my family never came looking for me. I am in good health and now that I am in a nice warm home I am a very happy boy. I have very good house manners, am house trained, and I even sit on command.

I get along well with young children and other dogs too. I do love rawhide chews (as you can see in my photos). Mostly I just want to find my own Forever Family to love and be loved by.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oliver, a Phoenix Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
