Mia's Story...
Hi, I'm Mia! I'm 2 years old (January 2013) and I hear people say that I'm a sweet, sweet soul. I was found tied up where I was left night and day, no food or shelter from the sun. I am so fortunate that a great lady took me home and now I am living in heaven! Although I am happy where I am now, I'm really hoping to find my forever home soon. I live with many dogs and I'm always well behaved. I've recently passed the Canine Good Citizen test and received my Canine Good Citizen Certification! I'm a happy wiggly pup! If you'd like a little wiggle in your life, please fill out an application to meet me...Mia!

Pit Bulls personalities are energetic, loyal, intelligent, fun loving, and affectionate. Pit Bulls require intelligent, responsible, and dedicated leadership. Because of the breed’s undeserved negative media image, human companions living with a pit bull have to be more careful and responsible than the average human dog companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia, a Santa Monica American Pit Bull Terrier/Foxhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Foxhound for sale in Santa Monica, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Foxhound dog from a breeder in Santa Monica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Monica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Monica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Foxhound breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Foxhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Monica paves the way for another one to be saved.
