My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Sam! I'm 6 years old, very social, very sweet. . . if I do say so myself -- I give great kisses! And I always have a smile on my face. I grew up in a home with kids and a doggy brother, so I have plenty of experience as a family dog. I know my basic commands, walk nicely on leash, and am already house trained, So I'm ready to join my new forever family!

I get along great with my foster brothers and we like to play, but I love my people more than anything. In fact, one of my favorite parts of the dog park was getting to sniff and introduce myself to all of the new people there! Wherever my people are around the house, I'm content to just lay by them -- and occasionally nudge them to pet me.

My foster mom says I'm the perfect combination of mellow and active. I like to walk, run, and play. II jogged 3 miles today!, but I'm generally a mellow boy when my people are relaxing.

Let's meet each other soon!! I'll bring my leash for our first walk together.
