My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Spring is in the air; beautiful flowers are blooming and those pretty
butterflies are beginning to emerge. It's time for renewal and new
beginnings. My "dog"tor has just given me a new beginning with some very
exciting news! Nearly a year ago, I was brought into WRNT with the
diagnosis of Cushings and chronic dry eye. After many months of evaluation
and testing, my "dog"tor says I do not have Cushings! This is very exciting
because with the exception of my eyes, that's mean I'm a healthy, 6 yr old
boy. I will always have a very bad case of dry eye, but that is taken care
of with two different eye meds that I will require for the remainder of my
life.

I'm bigger than the average Westie, weighing in at a trim, 24 lbs. I'm
happy, loving and very devoted to my foster mom and follow her everywhere!
I love playing tug a war with my human teenager and I really enjoy the other
doggies in the house. I even like the big kitty cat who lives here and not
many Westies can say that!

I'm looking for a home that has other 4 legged playmates for me and some
older human kiddos. If you believe you are the family for me, please
complete the adoption application and let's arrange a sit down. By the way,
look for Jeffe on the WRNT website. That's me but; and I won't answer to
that name so my foster family calls me Max and I like that name so much
better because I'm the Max-imus!!
