Parker's Story...
Meet Parker! Parker is a sweet, teddy bear of a dog. He reminds me of a frat boy full of charm and mischief. Parker likes toys and thinks it is great fun to steal the other dog's toys and make a run for it! Parker is 3 years old, black/rust in color and has a docked tail and cropped ears that do not stand. He has a big, gorgeous head and dreamy, dark eyes. Parker will be a good sized boy, probably around 85 pounds once he puts on some needed weight. Although he is a big goofy boy he has a certain gentleness about him that is quite endearing. Parker was found as a stray and does not appear to have had much previous training so he will need a kind and patient owner who is willing to put in the effort to smooth out his rough edges. The reward will be a truly awesome dog! Parker is doing well with his crate and house training and rides well in the car. Parker is fine with other dogs and will play with them but would be happy as an only dog as he prefers to be with his people. Parker isn't overly high energy so he would be great for a moderately active family. For more information about Parker, check out his webpage at www.dobe.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Parker, a Arlington Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
