My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chrissy(F) & Corey(M) are fostered in the South Bay Area of Northern CA
8.5 lbs and 7.2 lbs
3 years old

We got a call from one of our favorite shelters asking us to take two mini doxies that were catatonic with fear in the shelter. Since they squeeze us in for spay/neuter appts, we agreed to help them out and take the pair.

You might have guessed by their picture that Chrissy & Corey are not doxies but the new popular faux dachshunds (ie: chiweenies). Clearly the shelter workers need breed identification lessons!

These two were dumped in the lobby of an emergency vet clinic. They were very skinny, very scared and totally infested with fleas.

Fast forward a few weeks and they are fat and friendly. (given a few minutes to warm up to people). They love to cuddle and do great with other dogs. One of their best features is that they do not bark - no little yappers here!

This delightful duo would like a home with older kids or no kids. Cats would be bigger than they are so should be ok. These guys are making us reconsider rescuing dachshunds and thinking about going into chihuahua mixes. . We had no idea they could be so delightful!
