Rex's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Rex's Story...
Rex is the ideal dog. He listens well, has a healthy appetite, loves to play ball and is a wonderful companion. Unfortunately, he was given up because his owner’s landlord does not allow pet, which was no fault of Rex’s. Even after being given up, staying at the shelter, and being placed in a foster home, he has acclimated well to his surroundings and still is able to trust and love his foster family.

He gets along well with other animals. He is in a foster home with a dog and a cat and has gotten along with them since day one. Rex is up-to-date on his shots and has recently been neutered.

To learn more about Rex or to schedule a visit with him please email his foster mom, Alex, at adeckert@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rex, a Gaithersburg Border Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Gaithersburg, or seeking a Border Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Gaithersburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gaithersburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gaithersburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Border Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gaithersburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
