Bonnie's Story...
My name is Bonnie and I am one sweet beagle! I am two years old, happy, friendly, and love to wag my tail! I am a calm, laid back girl and like to hang around my foster parents and foster sister dogs. I am house trained, crate trained, and get along with other dogs. I walk well on a leash and enjoy car rides.

I had puppies before coming to the Humane Society and recently got spayed so my belly is healing. Otherwise, I am a healthy girl. I am anxiously waiting to be a member of a family who I will unconditionally love forever.

If you are interested in meeting me, give the shelter a call and they can get in touch with my foster mom.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bonnie, a Columbia Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
